Warren James
Licensing and Merchandise

During my first encounter with Warren James, I knew immediately that I could radically influence the future of their business. Their value proposition was ingenious; where merchandising for content creators had long been relegated to print-on-demand tees and hoodies, they maintained the manufacturing and fulfillment infrastructure to facilitate cut-and-sew apparel alongside a litany of other custom developed categories.

 

At the time, however, the communication of these capabilities was woefully lacking. Their website, hastily built with stock imagery and a singular blurb of nondescript copy, didn't exactly inspire confidence. When I was brought on to lead client acquisition efforts, my foremost priority was updating the company's materials to better convey the premium nature of their services.

Over the first month of my tenure; I revisited the logo, established a new palette and set of brand guidelines, and built a new website from the ground up to more clearly illustrate how the service worked. Under a new tagline, "Merchandising for the Modern World", I wrote extensive copy framing their offering in addition to creating detailed case studies and animations showcasing examples of their previous work.

In conjunction with my daily efforts creating and leading pitches for prospective clients, these changes drove a flurry of new partnerships resulting in $20MM in marginal sales revenue over the following eighteen months.
